At JetskiDubrovnik.Com, we aim to make your booking and payment process as smooth as possible. This page outlines our payment terms and conditions to ensure clarity and transparency in all financial transactions.

1. Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Credit/Debit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, and American Express
  • Online Payment Platforms: PayPal and other electronic payment systems
  • Bank Transfer: For advance bookings (details provided upon request)
  • Cash (EUR): Accepted for in-person payments only

All online payments are processed through secure payment gateways to ensure the safety of your financial information.

2. Deposit and Full Payment Options

We offer two payment options for securing your jet ski booking:

Option 1: Deposit Payment (30%)

  • A 30% deposit is required to confirm your booking
  • The deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances
  • The remaining balance must be paid before the start of your jet ski experience
  • The remaining balance can be paid by any of our accepted payment methods

Option 2: Full Payment in Advance (5% Discount)

  • Full payment made at the time of booking qualifies for a 5% discount on the total price
  • This option provides the best value and simplifies the check-in process
  • The refund policy still applies as detailed in our Cancellation Policy

3. Currency and Taxes

  • Currency: All prices are indicated and charged in Euro (€)
  • VAT (PDV): All prices displayed include the Croatian Value Added Tax (PDV) at the current rate of 25%
  • Invoices: A proper invoice/receipt will be provided for all payments
  • Currency Conversion: If you pay with a non-Euro credit card, your bank's conversion rate will apply

4. Security Deposit

In addition to the service payment, a security deposit is required:

  • Amount: €500 per jet ski
  • Purpose: To cover potential damage to equipment
  • Format: Pre-authorization on credit card or cash
  • Return: Fully refundable upon inspection if the equipment is returned in the same condition as provided

The security deposit is separate from the service payment and is not a payment for the service itself. It is solely held as security against potential damage to our equipment.

5. Group and Special Discounts

  • Group Bookings: Special rates are available for groups booking 3 or more jet skis
  • Extended Rentals: Discounts apply for half-day and full-day rentals
  • Low Season: Special rates may be available during off-peak periods (October-April)
  • Returning Customers: Loyalty discount of 10% for returning customers

6. Payment Processing

  • Online Booking: Payment will be processed immediately upon confirmation
  • Booking Via Email/Phone: We will send you a secure payment link
  • Confirmation: A booking confirmation will be sent to your email after successful payment
  • Currency Conversion Fees: Any fees imposed by your bank for currency conversion are not our responsibility

7. Damage Charges

As outlined in our Terms and Conditions, customers are fully responsible for any damage to the equipment.

  • Damage charges will be assessed based on actual repair or replacement costs
  • Minor damages will be charged accordingly to the extent of repair needed
  • Major damages exceeding the security deposit amount will require additional payment
  • The customer agrees to pay for all damages in full
  • Damage assessment will be conducted in the presence of the customer when possible

8. Payment Verification

  • ID Verification: The person making the payment must present a valid ID matching the payment method
  • Credit Card Verification: For credit card payments, the card must be in the name of the booking person
  • Third-Party Payments: If someone else is paying for your booking, please inform us in advance
  • Anti-Fraud Measures: We reserve the right to request additional verification for suspicious transactions

9. Refunds and Cancellations

Our refund policy is directly linked to our cancellation terms:

  • Deposits (30%) are non-refundable under any circumstances
  • For full payments, refund rules follow our Cancellation Policy
  • Refunds are processed using the same payment method used for the original transaction
  • Refund processing typically takes 5-10 business days to appear in your account
  • In case of Company-initiated cancellations, a full refund including the deposit will be issued

10. Price Changes

  • The Company reserves the right to change prices at any time
  • Price changes will not affect existing confirmed bookings
  • Seasonal pricing variations may apply during high season (June-September)
  • Special events or holidays may have different pricing
